Abstract

Many studies have shown higher efficacy in the treatment of chronic pain from therapies available at multidisciplinary pain centers than by other approaches. This lesson looks at different multidisciplinary approaches to treating causes and comorbidy of chronic pain, and the role of the combined effort of different healthcare professionals in leading to a more successful treatment and better quality of life.
